At the crossroads of cultures, the “Intersection” project is a meeting of different eras, which Cassan, through his adventure, symbolizes. Since 1070, Le Château-Abbaye de Cassan has been reflecting the history of the region. Contemporary art is in formation, is opposed. “Intersection” is the willingness to participate in its definition. That of a movement in relation to its time, close to all, in opposition to a more conceptual vision. Thus, five European artists seize here their chance to produce a set of paintings in relation with Cassan and its territory. First underground, now nomadic, PDP is a new generation cultural platform, exploring the limits of contemporary art. Like the artists in the project, PDP gallery is involved everywhere, independently, without borders. Born out of a utopia in 2011, PDP has since seen its community grow, partnering with those, like the music label An.Art, who champion a new vision of the art world. PDP gallery cultivates the ambition to offer an alternative to the traditional system of galleries.
