The Atelier Piece Unique gallery has regularly presented Nadel's paintings since 2015. In October 2017, she organized her first solo exhibition. The artist is an alchemist who transforms the grayness of everyday life into a magical and colorful work. The young woman was born in the Paris region, but she spent a large part of her life in Tahiti. Back in France, she is struck by the duality between our hyperconnected society and the loneliness of people. She takes her brushes to find that Polynesian warmth and joie de vivre that she misses. Several series of paintings are thus born, declining joyful and tangy harmonies, anthropomorphic shapes, repetitive geometric patterns. In Flying dead, the artist imagines flying characters crossing each other in space like ghosts. For the Connexion series, she paints multicolored buildings populated by strange creatures, half funny, half scary. It is this work that the Atelier Piece Unique gallery is showing today.
