Galerie Regard (s) is an ephemeral gallery that will be set up in Galerie 42, at 42 rue Lamartine in the 9th arrondissement from October 25 to November 11, 2017. Passionate about music, we have long wanted to organize a exhibition on this theme and show different idols in intimate moments or on stage. In particular, we will be exhibiting exclusive photos of Barbara, photographed during a concert by Bertrand Fèvre. You will have the chance to see the most famous singers and musicians from all over the world, all styles combined: Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, Chet Baker… It is an honor for us to bring together for this theme of also great photographers, some of whom have dedicated their lives to music. Jean-Louis Rancurel, Bertrand Fèvre, Nicolas Guérin and Gustavo Saiegh have agreed to follow us on this adventure. Portraits of Richard Avedon, William Claxton, Joseph Wertheimer, John Alridge, Anton Corbijn will also be exhibited. On this occasion, we will pay tribute to the photographer Jacques Beneich, who recently passed away and who photographed the biggest names in Jazz. We want to show the public all the poetry that we felt in these portraits seen by a touching eye, that of the passionate photographer.
