He is a german painter, living since 16 years in Provence, Fritz Mackensen’s great nephew, Reimut-Rudiger Voigt perpetuates the family artistic tradition.
In 1980, he opened an art gallery, named “La Galerie List?” in Hannover. He outlined international contemporary painting like its own paintings. He organized exhibitions of Bulgarian painters in several German galleries. He prefers acrylic paint, because he wants to transmit through its works, its emotions and its state of mind of the moment. He doesn’t want to influence the spectator, that’s why his paintings don’t have a title. Its colors are gleaming and rich, subtle and soft or proud and vibrating.
