Gaëtano Grisafi

Italian-Belgian artist, self-taught painter. “Since my childhood, drawing has always been a pleasure and it remained until January 2014. This year was the start of a more than satisfying artistic journey. It was without any art training whatsoever that I started painting on canvas. After only a few tests on small formats, large canvases quickly conquered me, giving me a great feeling of creative freedom. Acrylic immediately became my medium, because it allows me to express my creativity without limits and to follow a rhythm of sustained creation. Black and white very quickly appeared as the most beautiful vector of my ideas. As for my style, considered "unique" by several people, it also corresponds to me and deeply. The positive comments from spectators during my exhibitions fill me with satisfaction as an artist, as do the 3 prizes obtained during 2 years of permanent artistic work. Happy in particular with the Marina Picasso prize at the international exhibition in Cannes in 2016 ”
