Désirée Engelen

Born in Brussels in 1967, a childhood in Maastricht (Netherlands), then France (Paris, Angers) and Switzerland (Geneva). Désirée Engelen has worked on sets all over the world (New York, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Paris, Berlin, Zurich, London, Dublin, Stockholm, Charleston, etc.) for prestigious brands as well as for private clients. Very inspired by the Dutch painters, the artist also produced to order many portraits inspired by these great masters. After all these years of figurative painting, the artist has become more and more involved in the abstract ... with more than ever the desire to paint ... instinctively, without duty, without filter, without judgment ... letting go of his heart and soul… Désirée Engelen rediscovers all her authenticity, sensitivity, spirituality, and uniqueness.
