Born in 1983 - Belgium

Jigé is a self-taught artist born in 1983 and based in Lille. Trained as a metal worker and welder, he produced his first sculptures in 2007 in a style that was at first figurative, then geometric and expressive. In 2013 he switched to style that can be called Pop Street Art, developing a universe inspired by the comic heroes of his childhood and by advertising.

Using Posca in all colors, Jigé develops a body of work swirmming with objects and funny characters that recall the universe of comics. A prolific artist, he uses all possible supports, from canvas to walls, clothing and everyday objects that he likes to customize.
