A Belgian visual artist, whose work is deceivingly simple, at once playful and naïvely melancholic, sometimes scatological but very much layered in sophistication. His overwhelming, obtrusive canvases can both be oddly humorous as emotionally charged. Falling somewhere between representation, cartoonish street art and x-rayed abstraction, his colourful and satirical pop-canvases tell different stories with just a few flattened brush strokes.
