Presentation

Born in 1972 in Charleroi, Belgium, Cédrine Lixon is a designer. At the beginning she worked as a professional interior architect, but later on she decided to dedicate to her passion, making glassware. This practice, passed on to her from her ancestors, who were glass cutters, was thus mastered with familiarity by her. To complete her innate skill, she did a training in Italy. After jumping from one place to the other for some years, she finally settled in Marseille.

Cedrine Lixon's work oscillates between poetry and design, art and technique. Sushi dishes, salad bowls, dishes, bowls and cups, disguised as works of art. Cédrine Lixon creates customarized objects for restaurants and interior decoration. She makes her creation with a noble material, Murano glass, a noble and traditional material. Cooked at a very high temperature, the glass is transformed in elegant pieces of tableware.

The five stars restaurants use the work of this goldsmith, including the: Le Petit Nice Passedat in Marseille, Le Plazza Athénée in Paris, L'Air du Temps in Belgium and La Table de Ventabren in Provence. She has also done pieces which she has sold internationally, work that she has done with limited mobilier and fixtures.
