Gunga Gerra was born in Mozambique and moved to Brazil in 1975. When he was a child, he loved to draw stories in a comic book style. He wanted to work in advertising, therefore he joined university and discovered video and the world of animation.
Since more than 25 years, Gunga Gerra has been working in graphic designing, illustration and animation.
A fan of motor cycle, his love for Harley Davidson and this universe have a major influence on his paintings.
Close to realism, Gunga Gerra works with acrylic on varied materials like metal, canvas or even denim.
