Eduardo Recife

Brazil Born in: 1980

Eduardo Recife is a visual artist with a degree in Graphic Design. Despite his young age, he has now been more than 15 years dedicated to the passion for collage and drawing.
Despite maintaining extensive authorial production, he worked as an illustrator and added to his client list names such as The New York Times, Youtube, Volkswaggen, HBO, among others. In addition to commercial recognition, his work has been published in more than 70 national and international art and design books and magazines, and the artist has won several awards, such as the Golden Lion of Cannes (2011), American Illustration (2009) and the Young Illustrations Award (2014).

He was also invited to compose a select group of artists who created special works for the 2014 World Cup by FIFA, produced an exclusive work for the collection of the MAM / SP Design Club and was one of the few Brazilians who created a signed bottle for the Absolut Vodka. In the field of photography, the artist also had his work recognized with the publication of the book My Dear India (2010).

But, even though he moved through other universes, his passion was always for the visual arts, where the artist works with delicate themes with sensitivity, in complex works with a clear critical and denouncing character.

Man's desires, doubts and dreams are manifested in introspective works, full of symbologies. With a unique style, each work is designed in its smallest details and built by mixing different techniques. Old images and elements of contemporary aesthetics appear together to create pieces full of emotion and meaning that jump into the eyes and soul of the observer, making our minds get lost in reflection.
