Presentation

Nina was born and raised in Bulgaria where she still lives. From an early age, she took an interest in creative activities and art quickly became an essential way of life. At school, she studied wood carving and discovered the applied arts. Then it is the fine arts that she studies at university. She specializes in painting and makes it her favorite field.

Many years of artistic research allow him to build himself gradually. The style and the colors evolve and the images represented are always filled with optimism.

She particularly appreciates oil painting for its elasticity and texture flexibility. This technique opens up an infinite number of possibilities for him to create spaces and situations. Initially, Nina was interested in the strength of colors, the emotions they provoke and the unique perception they give to space. It is then a way to express his emotions.

Now, Nina is moving towards monochrome and decreasing the use of nuances. She works on the characters and the general composition to create a retro atmosphere.

Nostalgic for the Art Deco and Vintage years, Nina transmits her nostalgia in her painting. It translates, with undeniable elegance, a sweet sadness mixed with optimism. Each of her works takes us into a world of ancient charm where poetry, femininity and mystery come together.

Everything from the past inspires Nina: photographs, films, posters. It is also old stories of families and the values of the past that feed his works.

Artists like Lawrence Alma-Tadeva and John Williams (neoclassical painters) also inspire him for their representation of old themes revisited. Wife of a painter, art is an integral part of Nina's life. Her children are a permanent source of artistic renewal.
