Born in 1943 - Bulgaria
Dimiter Buyukliiski-Mitchi is a Bulgarian painter, born in Bulgaria in 1943. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia in Iliya Petrov's class.
Dimiter Buyukliiski-Mitchy's work portrays nudity through masculine and feminine bodies, without actually representing it, but through forms, in an evocative manner, though not subtle. His paintings remind us of the surrealist painters, who are obviously a source of inspiration especially in the artist's style of using perspective and making compositions.
