Born in 1977 - Chile
Francisco Sepulveda was born in Chile in 1977. He studied drawing, painting and printing at the Santiago School of Fine Arts and in Wilfredo Lam’s workshop, which explores the experimental techniques of etching. He has been living in France since 2004. His work is a mix of South American legends and his own imagination.
Luxuriant, mysterious and magical at the same time, the work merges Francisco Sepulveda’s polymorphous references to his Latin American roots and the different cultures that he has immersed himself in.
