Klaus Fruchtnis is a Franco-Colombian photographer, digital artist and researcher. His work is based on the fields of photography, multimedia, digital drawing and media experimentation.
Klaus was born in Colombia in 1978. He studied plastic arts at the University of Los Andes in Bogotá and continued his education at the Ecole de Beaux-Arts in Paris and Rennes in France, where he obtained his DNAP and DNSAP (specialty in photography, video and multimedia); and a Research Master in Design Media Technology: Arts & digital media at the University of La Sorbonne. Between 2010 - 2011, he was part of the team of researchers of the EnsadLab program at the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris.
His research is linked to the word "space", and it has been characterized by its route and its way of evolution in recent years. It questions the image, its origin and its impact in today's art world, through new technologies and different ways of perceiving it, as well as its influence in our daily life.
