Presentation

Born in San Salvador in 1986, Manuel de Jesus aka El Salvadoreno comes from the post-Civil War generation

Adopted, he grew up in France between the diehard suburbs and the bourgeoisie of Neuilly. He became interested in street art at an early age right after he dropped out from school at 15. Eventually, he decided to leave for Salvador in 2007 to discover his origins. He came back, marked for life. Since then, he has been working with children in difficulties, as a night supervisor in a boarding school. Simultaneously, he likes to wander around the streets with his Canon camera.

Manuel de Jesus likes to capture happy moments of his life with his camera and take people on a journey through his off-the-wall look. He exhibited for the first time in November in 2015 at the Contemporary art fair of Bastille in Paris where he received great success. Today, he is represented by the "34 Bonaparte" gallery, at the heart of Saint Germain des Prés.
