Delphine Géliot was born in Paris in 1963. She has had a passion for drawing and painting since her childhood. After studying art, ten years of graphic creation, teaching drawing and painting, she discovered Zen painting, during a trip to Hong Kong. Today, she is an artist and visual arts teacher.
Zen painting influences the artist on a daily basis. It allows her to combine a meditative artistic and philosophical experience, she has been practicing this since several years. Just like calligraphy, she paints in a meditative state, and gets rid of her thoughts, making room for intuition.
