K-Zas

Olivier Casas is a French artist born in 1970. He is known under the artist name K ZAS. After ten years of television career, as cinematographer and chief editor, he directs advertising campaigns and five short films while also pursuing a career as an artist-painter. His works are inspired by pop art culture and thanks to an innovative and trendy technique, over the years he seduces collectors as well as art lovers who discover him in his very visual style and marked by a squeaky irony as in his Tombstone series where he made tombstone sculptures of controversial personalities on which he inscribed comic epitaphs. He has notably been exhibited in New York and London. His works are currently visible in several galleries in Paris.
