Francky Pookky

Born in 1972 in Montluçon, Francky, a self-taught artist, lived for around thirty years in the Paris region. Married, father of three young children, he moved to Brittany in 2006 where he worked as a landscaper with success. In 2010, out of passion, he threw himself headlong into the execution of small works of pop art inspiration which combine pin-ups, a sexy atmosphere, texts and a little note of humor! His technique consists of recovering photos and images from fashion magazines, advertisements, posters… and then (on the kitchen counter), tear them up, crumple, paste, paint and let my imagination run wild according to his mood. Each original work is then reworked by software and declined on different media in order to obtain exclusive models. He works mainly on feeling, drawing his inspiration from the media, current events, meetings, etc.
