Carole Manjoo

Originally from the Parisian suburbs, Carole Manjoo first trained at the fine arts workshops of La Glacière in Paris. She was then admitted to the Nantes School of Fine Arts in 2007 and obtained her DNAP (National Diploma of Plastic Arts) with the congratulations of the jury. Since then, she has devoted herself fully to painting. The artist paints a peaceful world disturbed by hunting, a game where man claims to find his primitive origins. His works inspire a form of melancholy poetry punctuated by lines of humor embodied by the animal. Stylized, domesticated floral motifs accompany the hunting scenes: the savage decorates everyday life and trivializes cruelty.
