Elisabeth Daveau is a French painter born in 1950. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Tours, she currently lives and works in the central region, in Saint Avertin.
In 1980, his work started to turned towards the movement of narrative figuration, an approach to time and reality. Her artistic approach is strongly linked to photography, which serves her as a bait, a starting point and she then interprets it on the canvas. She recently did a collection of portraits of celebrities of the world of art, from Chagall to Warhol, emphasizing the duality, the objective and subjective aspect, the reality of their physics and that of their art.
Enriched with a long career, the artist has done many solo and group exhibitions in France, and continues exhibiting regularly.
