Muriel Marec is a French artist, she makes sculptures. Initially a photographer, she changed courses and turned towards sculpture, without losing passion for snapshots and movement, in fact she continues to inspire this in her creations.She has been living in Togo since 2006.
Her sculptures capture this new environment: she transposes, analyzes and transforms them. Birds in particular hold an important place in her world. Slender and aerial, the artist uses patina to make them quiver and accentuates the movement.
