Odile Artéon

Native from the French Basque country, Odile Artéon, is a self-taught artist who lives in St Jean de Luz.

An eternal vagabond, se oscillates between Andalusia and California to do her gigantic mural frescoes, ancien patinas and optical illusions. She often crosses the oceans to go to the Island of Reunion, where the light inundates and nourishes her creativity. The artist gathers, light's golden and silver rays, infused with mystic shades, on her canvas. Her assemblies deliver a message in which love, peace and harmony resound.

"How can we describe an exhibition by Odile Arteon? We do not talk about it we feel it. From the moment you enter, you are enveloped by a smooth vibration, invisible and powerful at the same time. A subtle energy, sometimes spiritual sometimes mystical, starting with "La Lumière Esprit Vivant" (Light a living Spirit). Emotions are there. They emerge from it with a touch of grace and in meditation and inner silence, feelings emerge: Harmony, peace and happiness", can be read on the artist's website.
