Marie Anglade is a French photographer and painter born in 1981. She is passionate about artistic creation since she was young, she studied at the School of Fine Arts of Lyon for five years, and then left a year to Prague to study at the School of Cinema FAMU. Once she graduated, she started practicing painting and photography. Besides her artistic activity, she became a sketch and color teacher at the CREAD Institute in Lyon, a school of interior architecture. She currently lives and works in Lyon, in her studio "Le Laboratoire" where she regularly delivers painting, serigraphy and drawing classes.
Even if photography is enough in itself, the artist has the habit of using it as a support for her paintings. Marie Anglade likes working with people she knows because it is from their story that she decideds how she is going to use her tools and mediums. She thus regularly uses her love ones, with whom she shares her personal life and who inspire her touching creations.
