Izys

Isabelle Zyskind aka IZYS was born in 1965, she is a self-taught artist. She lives and works in Paris. She gave up the world of finance for brushes and her students, and focused on her passion. She creates, teaches and heads sketching internships in Paris.

IZYS is able to create a unique atmosphere, with hints of thunder and interspersed with lights. Her urban topics or landscapes portray sensitiveness. She has put down roots in a technique where she uses watercolors and her process is unique, as she paints on coated canvases and includes photos, making it an integral part of her painting, through the use of her imagination.

"It's a real pleasure to lay my colors on the canvas, see them mix in wonderful volutes,I never get bored of them" says Izys.

She has taken part in artistic fairs and collective exhibitions, mainly "111 arts".
