Born in 1982 - France
Cdric-Moasa was born in 1982, he is a French photographer. After studying Graphic Design and communication at ESAM, Caen he contributed to the first edition of Flit Mag. He then worked at Portfolio Markets in the illustrator category at the Colophon Biennial in 2009 (Luxembourg) and published an auto-edition the following year "Gentleman". His editions were present at the Fanzine festival Marguerite Duras library Paris, 2011) but also Queer Zine Fair in Vilnius, 2013.
His photos sound out questions related to type, nature and spirituality. Mythology appears as a filigree and adapts with the current themes: hybridization between the human being and animal, identifying the fantasies of each person...He shapes visual poetry by super-positioning surrealistic and dreamlike images (digital editing, collages, photos, papier maché...) Cutting, assembling, rerouting...He makes up an unexpected set from symbols and codes to decipher or simply take over. The titles sketches out vanishing lines to chip away reflections and/ or dreams.
During his first personal exhibition at a contemporary art gallery in Bayeux, five of his artworks became a part of the modern art work gallery. His works are part of major exhibitions: GFest in London (November 2011), Uncensored: Queer Art and The Curch in 2012, Exhibition,Body and History (La Friche Belle in May, Marseilles, 2013), La Source association where he obtained a residency (La Guéroulde and Domaine de la Villarceaux, Chaussy, 2014). He regularly exhibits in Parisian galleries.
