Born in 1992 - France
Louis-Martin Letartre also known as LOMA, is a young painter from Lille born in 1992, who grew up in the world of art.
A self-taught artist, he got his knowledge from his admiration for his eldest of street art and his passion for contemporary painting. His numerous trips have also influenced him : he preserves a living color, material and movement, a metaphor of exotic landscapes.
His splashes of paint sometimes resemble Pollock's and Sam Francis' approach... Inspired by American abstract expressionism and shares the taste for societal change that guides the movement.
With a dynamic free-style, he expresses mainly on a canvas as well as on other supports such as cans, pallets, chairs, posters... The surface of the canvas is completely covered of colorful and harmonious association that expresses a dynamism of gesture in an aquatic motion. With an explosive and communicative energy, that emerges from his pieces in a whirlwind of bright and generous colors that reflect the joy of life that his author wants to convey. From this "not retained" gesture, emanates a fascinating light, promising joy and contemporary freshness.
