Born in 1963 - France

FKDL started painting and drawing in 1984. A fervent collector who loves accumulating things, he has collected various magazines that are for him a testimony and a legacy of an era, of an aesthetic or a trend.

The artist sees in the colors, shapes and fonts of the past a language that he can adopt and a source of artistic inspiration. In 2006 FKDL started to draw on the walls of several cities; he drew a series of silhouettes that he adorned with paintings and collages from magazines from the 1920s to the 1970s.

Street art becomes for the artist a real mission: his art is present in the streets, in various cities and countries. With positive energy and in harmony with the urban environment, his creations transform urban space. From the dynamic of the forms and the nostalgia of the past, FKDL makes very contemporary works of art.
