Annick B. Cuadrado is a French visual artist born in 1958, she is known for her portrayals of famous products. Currently living in Paris, she portrays classic candies, legendary sodas and even brands of soap for laundry in her contemporary pieces. With her portrayals of candies in particular, Annick B. Cuadrado bring us back to our childhood, making us revisit our memories of these small addictions which she highlights in a pop and colorful universe, thanks to sculptures, paintings, collages and even formwork. "I love seeing the shelves of the supermarkets overflowing with transparent colored boxes, bags and packages that talk to our childish side better than long discourse" declares the artist. The Proust's Madeleines of Annick B Cuadrado are internationally recognized. She exhibits her work in France as well as in the United States and Belgium.
