Presentation

“Painting can become obvious as much as a rescue when you look at life too closely.

Being an artist is cowardly, it means affirming that you are no longer afraid of anything except yourself.

To be an artist is to assume this unconditional love for solitude. This loneliness that echoes when we laugh in the cave. This loneliness that tries to panic us at the crossroads of the tunnels that we have dug.

To be an artist is to roll around in a filthy egocentricity hoping to make glitter squirt. Trying to answer questions "under the skin" and attacking the guts of our vision of the world at the risk of cutting the framework.

I am not an artist but the madman who cohabits in me would like it. He persists in shaking this compass that I held firmly. He glorifies the absurd and assures me that if we deviate from the serious, we will achieve freedom. To reassure myself on the reliability of this theory, I hasten to obtain the opinion of my dog.
