I make unique pieces. My land: a white sandstone, always the same. I like to marry the elements, to play with the material, to create contrasts, to give to see, to feel something which is of the order of ancestral memory. We can read the marks of time. My work must question, create an emotion. I work the earth to give it a texture by adding sand, small pebbles ... I tear, I mark, I hit, I cut and then repair. I create ruptures then I join the different elements with staples to create visible scars. I add porcelain on the surface, the strength of stoneware combined with the softness of porcelain. There must be contrasts. The material must be both soft and raw, it must play with the light. My pieces receive two fires, one of which is in an artisanal smoking oven. I thus leave a place to chance, earth, water and fire combining in the realization of each sculpture.
