Wilfried Histi

After studying graphic arts, Wilfried Histi began working as an illustrator for the press and publishing, then in graphic design. In parallel with his professional activity, After having worked extensively on painting from photographs, or directly on photographs or even on x-rays, Wilfried Histi now devotes himself to ceramics, which he sees almost as a game, in any event as permanent experimentation. He is not only interested in the form, but also in the additions or alterations of material (enamelling, passage to fire ...) - which he also extends on his supports resulting from the recovery, to which he brings back life. A life which is at the center of this practice: the artist works the earth by imposing a story on it: accidents, which she reproduces in a differentiated way with everyone.
