In March 2006, at the invitation of the American sculptor Mark di Suvero, Jean-François Coadou took part in Chalon sur Saône in the international worksite of the Vie des Formes team. Thanks to the help of the gallery owner Bruno Mory, who financed for him the acquisition of six tons of steel in the form of tubes of square sections, he designed and carried out a large monumental project. After having cut, welded, grinded and painted with the help of an unemployed metal worker, he delivered a part commissioned by the City of Chalon sur Saône. Jean-François Coadou baptized it "YES" because he wanted "to avoid gossip, to use a minimum vocabulary for maximum efficiency and to give a little joy".
