Nadia Touami was born in 1974 in Paris. Following her university studies in the field of cinematography, she began a career as an editor for cinema and television. She dedicates herself to painting in parallel for more than 10 years.
After experimenting in different areas such as watercolor and oil painting, she finds an appropriate medium for her to create a non-figurative universe. The use of India ink, acrylic paint and white Kraft paper gives a very plastic character to his work. Her paintings evoke in turn an urban mapping but also the vegetal and the mineral world.
