Christophe Lepetit is a photographer, born in 1963. He first carried out veterinary studies, before turning his passion into a career.
He was enthralled when he went to Africa for the first time, to Cameroon, in 1979. This feeling resurfaced when he spent three years in Dakar to carry out his military service. No sooner had he returned to France, Christophe Lepetit left for Africa again for another three years. His veterinary training has contributed to the way in which he sees the environment, nature, animals, science…
In 1986, he decided to dedicate himself fully to photography. He placed his photos with various reputable agencies: Hoa Qui first, then Fovéa, Gamma, Arenok and became freelance from 1998.
His talent and partnership with these agencies have allowed him to collaborate with large companies and also to carry out reportages for large media publications: Le Figaro Magazine, National Geographic, Paris Match and Capital.
