Lionel

Born in Paris on October 4, 1949, Lionel is an artist of international renown. His work is considerable, 3000 paintings and 300 engravings. Several books have been published on him, notably in Zurich in 1992, with “Art Selection” editions (out of print), and in Paris in 2002, with “Forum des Arts” editions.

For twenty-five years, Lionel Perrotte's work has been presented in the largest contemporary art fairs in Germany, Austria, Belgium, China, Korea, Spain, United States, France, Japan, Lebanon, Moldova, Sweden, Switzerland. , Turkey… Over the past 15 years, 60 solo exhibitions have celebrated his success all over the world and 3 retrospectives have already been devoted to him: Angers 1996 - Zürich 1999 - Levallois 2008.

He was able to tackle with happiness many themes such as the Tower of Babel, lacerations, silence, fertilization, the Turin shroud, matter, memory, silhouettes, but also conceptual art and that of realistic portraits. striking, set whose coherence is due to the style both free and original of this artist classified by criticism among lyrical abstracts. Today, he undertakes the realization of a polyptych of 9 panels on the life of Christ, alongside his new pictorial subject dedicated to fusion.
