Hélène Goddyn

Born in: 1975

Visual artist Hélène Goddyn uses digital technology as an artistic medium in itself. She is part of the 'Wonderful Art' movement: a positive and spiritual art that seeks for the essence of all creation. Her signature is "Créer pour vivre et faire un monde meilleur !" (Creating for living and making a better world). Her daily experience and life itself made her use medical images in the series "Les Mandalas humains" (Human mandalas).

A mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol. The mandala created from medical images is perfectly harmonious. Parallel to the mandalas, she deals with the collective imagination, reinterpreting paintings and famous iconographies through contemporary subjects.

She mixes the technique of digital drawing associated with photographs and scanned materials in the same painting. Through her work, she makes the public think and change opinions and perceptions of today's issues. Her works are inhabited by poetry and positive energy.
