An observer of the living world, Russ is interested in the evolution of matter and state over time. His illustrations and paintings, of dreamlike substance, mix figurative elements and more abstract forms. Between cosmic presence and organic or even vegetable dimension, his work opens up a part of free interpretation to the imagination. Russ paints outdoors for wall frescoes. In a more intimate context, his studio productions are also visible in the gallery.
