David Zac

The french artist David Zac was born in 1964 in Paris, he lives and works in Lille.

Passionate about contemporary and urban art, David finds his inspiration in Arman's neorealism, César, J. Villeglé, in Warhol's American Pop Art, Robert Rauschenberg, in Jackson Pollock's Abstract Expressionism. He is particularly fond of music, photography, fashion, graffiti and icons.

A lover of travels, open spaces and freedom, he also shares his world of mythical motorbikes and legendary cars. Women are sublimated in his works and are the essential characters of these creations. He composes his paintings around objects of worship always authentic, often musical instruments (guitars, violins, saxophones), cameras, parts of Harley Davidson, or vintage cars.

He then plays with collage, stencil, acrylic paint but also aerosol, sometimes neon, to tell their stories and make murals with volume, mixing paintings and sculptures. David Zac exhibits in France and Belgium.
