Acide

Born in Marseille in 1985, Acide is an artist from the South of France, from a young age drawing has always been part of his life. Towards the end of the 90s, he discovered hip-hop and the world of graffiti. He began to paint with a group very active in the region and experimented with lettering techniques as well as the representation of cartoon characters or 3D abstracts. His quirky works mix a universe of portraits of famous characters, toons or even animals. Self-taught, he mixes styles, using different tools such as stencils, spray cans, posca or acrylic while remaining faithful to the codes of street art. In 2009, he obtained his diploma in interior architecture which allowed him to improve his skills in different drawing techniques and was interested in the history of art. He likes to incorporate into his work a few nods to artists who have influenced him such as Warhol, Banksy or Liechtenstein. A pop artist to discover and follow closely.
