Presentation

S' kwer, a painting of happiness, a beautiful world for Lulu.

She lives on Arcachon bay, and translates her environment by a playful and cheerful painting (exhibitions of her first small canvases from 2013)

During her travels, the artist discovered candy-coloured houses hanging on the hills of the British Virgin Islands and Victorian houses in San Francisco. Her imagination did the rest, with a crazy desire to shake up the codes to offer to her little girl Lucile a beautiful world.

She loves humor, drawing, Pop' art, comic books, stories, poetry, puzzles and acidic colours.

She chose the theme of the huts, including a situation, a story, memories. She started the series with "inhabited" cabins, a kind of staging inside the cabins. Their titles tell you about the illustrated theme.

Some of them have more structured compositions including the symbols of Arcachon'Bay: pinasses, oyster poles, limed tiles, etc.

She also spends many months on a sailboat based in the Ionian islands and started this series aboard her companion's sailboat. This is why she also includes female nudes in her compositions. The title of the paintings then refers to characters belonging to Greek mythology.
