Presentation

Born in 1973, Laurent Allory studies Plactic Arts at the Academy Charpentier of Paris.
He turned to visual communication and works as artistic director when he decides to reconnect with his passion: painting. he has explored since then, a variety of themes, sometimes finding inspiration in African art, in modern European art with graphical trends. He searches for material effects by including in his acrylic on canvas coatings and collages.

In recent years, Laurent Allory turned to photography through research on urban planning, places abandoned or under construction, and all these places destined to disappear or to be transformed. But the artist has not forgotten his palette of paint, since each photograph is retouched with color, giving back to these places a second life.

The smooth surface of the drawing plays with the relief of materials and acrylics; the frozen moods and the inertia of these designs are transformed with energy and the brush movements.
