Isabelle Milloz

Born in 1966 and currently living in the Lyon region, Isabelle Milloz studied art at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Nantes, and in many private workshops.

After having worked for a dozen years as a graphic designer, she has been drawing and painting since 2006. Her current work is divided into two distinct parts: on the one hand, portraits after a photo on order, and on the other hand plastic creation, using painting and mixed techniques according to his research and desires.
She also makes demos for the "Pleasures of Painting" magazine.

She participates in numerous group exhibitions, and also organizes some personal exhibitions.

Through her painting, she offers a moment of escape, lets each person's imagination invent a story, a sequel, a past ... and gives way to poetry and sweetness. His subjects often take the face of childhood, or young girls, landscapes, objects and animals. His inspirations often come from childhood dreams, fairy tales, but also from life stories, loneliness, parenthood, the idea of memory, timelessness... The stars, the sun, the wind, the rain, sometimes invite themselves in his compositions, as well as the crowns of kings or princesses of imaginary kingdoms. His works mix genres and eras, according to his various artistic influences, including the sfumato of Leonardo da Vinci, the effects of Van Gogh movement, the softness of the blurred work of the impressionists or photographer Sarah Moon.
