Hélène Paris

Illustrator and visual artist Hélène Paris lives and works in Paris. A graduate of the Reims School of Art and Design, she dedicates herself almost exclusively to illustration and contemporary drawing.

Each subject is an opportunity for graphic experiments. Hélène Paris uses India ink or Rotring pens, and also integrates a little bit of color in her works. Her drawings are clean and precise. She plays with negative and positive space. White completes, in her works, the depth and velvet feel of her blacks or marks the fragility of the lines. It marks an absence more than a void, and captures the imagination of the viewer. Hélène Paris doesn't reveal everything, she isolates her subjects and lets the spirit compose the works.
