Born in 1987 - France
Mickaël Koska started as a self-taught designer, unsing recycled objects of various origins that he liked to assemble. Each piece is unique through its history and reinterpretation.
He later studied cabinetmaking at the Ecole Boulle in Paris. This experience allowed him to develop his skills and establish himself as an artist and designer. He is an avantgardist through his approach and he likes to combine the nobility of wood with the dynamism of modern materials to create original pieces.
Mickaël Koska is inspired by everyday images, architecture, film, the streets... he takes inspiration from his surroundings and reinterprets things to design unusual objects, eluding codes and conventions. His vision is aesthetic, functionally contemporary and offers the possibility to customize and energize space. The search for new forms and materials is his main motivation.
