Presentation

Olivier Lannaud wanders through a field of exploration between painting, photography and sculpture. These portraits on digitized photos, printed repainted and covered with shells of various objects that question us about this contemporary man who wanders in a society torn between the quest for spirituality and the need to consume.

With Memosaïque, he revisits the portraits of our ancient and modern mythology. By using keys from used computer keyboards on the basis of a very old technique, he thus develops a form of pointillism: a sort of "object painting" whose touch, from dark to light, is the even that allows us to capture our thoughts here. Work on our collective memory that we digitize and virtualize at the risk of losing it… Prisoners more or less willing than we are, of a technology with programmed degeneration in constant acceleration.
