Gorg One

Gorg One has been installed on Reunion Island since 2005.

The link between graffiti and the poetic environment naturally makes sense. He easily expresses his deep respect for Nature in the choice of subjects and the fragility of life in the staging and the painted atmosphere. It leads to an art whose “features express both the forms of things and the drives of dreams; they are not simple outlines; by their full and their outlines, by the white they surround, by the space they suggest, they already imply the volume (never frozen) and the light (always changing) ”.

Gorg One revives and enlivens a soft and screaming nature. The half tones in rigorous harmony suggest the passing of time. Like the futuristic avant-garde Gorg One breaks down and recomposes the beauty of movement in nature. We never tire ! The shapes reveal, deploy the nonchalant movement of the whale and the precise beating of a bird's wings. His emotion, still alive in his hands, traces and asserts itself over time. It is then that a rugged, vibrant, perfect, delicate line is spread over the walls. “The world is a gigantic painting”.
