Charles Courrière started working with Paris Match in 1951 and quickly became one of the "Great reporters".

He covered the major events of the time, from the Indochina war to the Six Day war as well as the war in Algeria.

He has been constantly exposed to dangers during his reports. He knew better than anyone how to face danger with courage, making high quality coverages and many exclusives as a result.

During all these years, he has worked with some of the most important politicians and stars from all around the world, he even became friends with some of them.

In the 70s, he went to the South to cover the area for Paris Match. He then settled in Cuxac-Cabardès. His refuge.
