Sebastien Micke

Born in 1977 - France

Sébastien Micke is a French photographer born in 1977.
His family wanted him to become a doctor, but he wanted to be a professional water polo player. At the end, he decided to start studying art and photography, after having started a formation at CREPS.

He changed his mind the summer of 1999, when he was drifting away from his training in sports, he applied to do an internship in the famous magazine Paris Match, in the photo service section. He had a lot of luck wen he started this internship, since he was chosen to take the place of Kasia Wandycz who had just left the department of Agathe Godard.

In 2008 the photographer was called to join the New York's Paris Match subsidiary, he quickly gained notoriety there by taking snapshots of some of the biggest celebrities of cinema and music.
