Presentation

Living and working in France in the Jura department, my professional background is rich and unusual. When I was 20, I volunteered as a peacekeeper in the UN troops in Lebanon. Being a witness and sometimes an actor in countries at war pushed me to focus on the essential. As soon as I return, I devote myself to this essential, which in my artistic approach requires that nothing else exists around the work. There is a real link between survival in hostile territory and my art. Whether it is during my humanitarian missions with Doctors Without Borders or during my work as an educator with young delinquents that I take to exceed their own limits in hostile territories (Lapland, Amazonian forest, mountains, etc. ), each of my works feeds on my activities. All my works are part of the theme of “steel in motion”. The goal is to create recycled steel sculptures giving the impression of movement, elegance and lightness by imitating the real posture of the animal as if frozen in motion.
